I recently purchased a sideboard from Gliteen on Amazon and couldn't be happier! The quality exceeded my expectations, especially for an online purchase.it’s such a beautiful, aesthetic piece. It fits perfectly in my space and adds so much style. Highly recommend!

I came across the gileteen brand through social media. And even though I was skeptical to make such a big purchase online, I went ahead with it due to the reviews that I saw. I was also in touch with them for a long time before the purchase. All the conversations with them seemed fine and dependable. I purchased two chairs and a 3 seater bench. I must have received the order from jodhpur to Kolkata in the month of June 2024. After that, the individual chairs must have hardly been used 15-20 times, because the house where these furniture are kept, I only stay occasionally there. On one evening I started seeing cracks on the hinges of the chair and I told Narayan ji that there are cracks showing up on the chair. But he said it is normal and the chair can be used normally. So I continued using the chairs. But on September 9, 2024, my family member was sitting on the chair and it came crashing down. It was horrendous. My family member could have gotten seriously hurt. The chair has broken into literal pieces after such less and careful usage.
After this happened I don’t know what to do because they didn’t respond when I requested for a refund. Their solution to this is that they will change the item. But honestly I am not sure I want to use their items. I spent quite an amount of money on these furniture and they didn’t even survive a few months. Very disheartening experience. I should have known better. Here are the pictures of the broken chair.
Edit: the business owner is asking for the order number as a reply to my review. Since I can’t reply to their reply, I am updating my review and adding the invoice that this brand had issued.

Bought this fantastic Chandigarh Chair from Amazon recently! I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to assemble the entire chair. The teak wood used for construction is definitely a great value for the price. What I really adore about it is the trendy rattan work, adding a touch of sophistication, and the rich walnut color gives it such a warm and rustic aesthetic feel. It’s quickly become the highlight of my space!

We ordered a table, a bench, 2 chairs, a coffee table and a cabinet from The Gileteen. All of which came in wonderful quality. The best part of this whole purchase was partnering with Narayan ji. He was very easy to talk to, sent us pictures through out the building of our furniture, was very understanding, cooperative, flexible and kind at every step. He reassured us at the products will come out great and that we will be happy with our buy. He has a carpenter in Mumbai who came home and assembled all the pieces. The whole process was a nice experience that gave us the confidence to buy so many things in one go from the gileteen and narayan ji.
